The 21st Century Schools Program is making sure that your children return to a better school system.
Cisco Systems set up the 21st Century Schools Program (or 21S for short) to help schools in Louisiana and Mississippi that were affected by Hurricane Katrina. The program was designed to help these schools rebuild and become better than ever. The goal of the program is to improve and expand learning opportunities for students by integrating technology into everyday classroom activities. It is all about empowering children to participate in the 21st century economy.
As part of the 21S program, Cisco has set up technology grant funds, donated equipment, and offered assistance with teacher training, e-learning, curriculum development, and the use of technology in schools. The program will make sure that:

Yes. The 21st Century Schools Program is offering an internship for young adults 21 or older who are technology-savvy and want to help their communities and schools through technology.
To qualify for this internship, you should:
As an intern for this program, you will help integrate technology into the local schools. You will help the teachers use technology in the classroom, lead knowledge-sharing activities, and help to promote the program in the community. You will receive training from Cisco Systems, and you will also receive a $1,000 stipend every month during the ten-month internship.
